Ah….it’s that time of the year.  It’s the time that uprising seniors are preparing to have their high school senior portraits done.  We love this time of the year.  Whether we are shooting our portrait session in the studio or on location, we love it.  Here’s Tatiana.  She wore lots of cool clothes and we shot in lots of cool locations.  We were able to photograph with vintage cars, on a vintage couch, and finally trashed the dress.

Ahhh….Lucas….a senior boy for senior portraits.  We just love that.  Since we have 2 boys of our own, we just love it when the guys come in for their senior session.  Lucas is a skater and a current senior and will be graduating in June.  With Lucas and his vibe, we thought it would be cool to capture him in an urban setting.

Lucas has a sister named Haley, which you will see here.  We did her senior pictures in 2010.  We just love it when families return to us!

Sometimes it’s just fun to do something that is not the “typical setting” for a certain type of couture.  That is exactly why we love doing Trash the Dress and Trash the Formal Shoots.  Sometimes we find ourselves out shooting in the breaking of the waves of the Bay or Ocean.  Then sometimes we find ourselves shooting in the depths of an urban setting in the dirty, yet beautiful alley ways of downtown and on top of buildings.  That’s exactly what we did with Ashley.  Ashley came to her shoot in the perfect color for a Trash the Dress in an outdoor location.  We didn’t really trash her dress, but had fun trying!
