Ah…what can I say…The Homestead. Does luxury and relaxation get any better then there?  A beautiful setting with a beautiful view, with natural springs and, well, you name it and they have it.

We had the amazing pleasure of shooting Mary’s bridal session and her wedding at the Homstead. Shooting Mary at the Homestead is like stepping back in time.

Ah…it’s Tuesday afternoon and love is in the air.  We just love the fact that we get to document people’s lives through photography.  Britt and Da Niel are on the path to heading to the alter and they have entrusted us with their memories.  On a Friday afternoon, we got to stroll around the beautiful downtown Norfolk are captured some awesome urban and historic areas with this beautiful engaged couple!  We love the chance to do on location photography, especial outdoor photography when the weather is as beautiful as the couple that we are shooting.

We have spent most of February out speaking at different venues, in different states, and before many photographers sharing how we do what we do.  We have traveled from Florida to Arizona all in a short 29 days.  We love the opportunity to hit the road and share about our photographic experience.  Since the photographic industry has changed from photography film to digital, there are many changes that have been made in the way that we shoot, process and market.  One of our stops in the month of February, was in Las Vegas, speaking at our national photography conference called WPPI.  WPPI’s (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) attendance is generally 12,000 – 15,000 attracting photographers from all over the globe, so to be able to share there is an honor.  This year we shared about wedding photography, both stateside and international, and about senior high photography .
